Five for Friday

Happy Friday loves! Hope you all had a great week and have some exciting things coming up for the weekend! We have a few fun things planned…and lots and lots items to ninja-kick off the to do list.

Make it!

Pesto Rainbow Lunch Bowl - Obviously my recipes come first because they are the best. This lunch is so simple and yet so filling, healthful and tasty!

Coconut Tres Leches Cupcakes – From How Sweet It Is. All you have to do is look at these to know they will be delicious.

Meringue Mushrooms – My favorite way to enjoy mushrooms without the risk of scary rash or death (I’m allergic). Actually I haven’t had meringue in forevvvva but aren’t these just TOO cute?!

Asparagus {spring} pasta – From Naturally Ella. Did you know that I hate asparagus? Yep. It’s so….woody. I think I might actually like it in pasta so I’m including this recipe as a reminder to branch out every once in a while and try something that you “think” you don’t like. And if I didn’t like it, I could always cover it in goat cheese and that would basically cure the problem.

Lemon Marshmallow Tart from Taste and Tell – I’m totally excited about this one. Basically anything with a graham cracker crust and I’m sold.

3 Steps to Pursuing Your Ideal Career – Well that’s a thinker.

15 Things You Should Give Up To Be Happy – Oh boy we are getting deep with this one…

Ashley Judd Slaps Media in the Face – Even though I find her tone slightly annoying, I understand her point completely and I think she raises some really important questions, particularly about the way the media objectifies female celebrities and how this affects young girls and women.

5 Super Fun Things To Do With Coffee Filters – Including making your own greek yogurt! Psyched.

The Official Details on J.K. Rowling’s New Book!! Okay it sounds super boring, but I’m definitely going to give it a chance. There must be some kind of twist, right? Unfortunately it doesn’t look like there will be any wizards, but I’m still crossing my fingers…

Thought for the day:
